Restaurant Review – BJ’s Brewhouse – Clearwater

Website: https://www.bjsrestaurants.com/

Address: 2700 US Highway 19 N Suite 1160, Clearwater, FL, 33761

Phone: 727-726-8855

Parking: It’s attached to Countryside Mall (although you can’t enter from inside the mall) so depending on the time of day and/or year you can easily find parking or expect a little walk. There is also valet available near PF Changs next to it.

Seating: Very large open restaurant with booths, tables, and bar seating

Service: Relaxed but quick.

It’s great to have some higher class options available at Countryside Mall when you want to get away from noshing at the food court. The menu is quite large, think of Cheesecake Factory. For some it may be overwhelming. For me it’s a challenge to try as many things as possible which I accept.

Appetizers:

BJs Appetizer – Ahi Poke

Ahi Poke – $10.95 – 320 calories

Chopped sashimi-grade ahi tuna and green and yellow onions marinated in their signature poke sauce. Topped with diced avocados and served with crisp wonton chips.

Perfect starter to share because it’s not too heavy and will actually leave you with some room to eat your entree.

Entree Salads:

BJs Entree Salad – Santa Fe with Shrimp

Santa Fe Salad – $13.25 – 980 calories (for blackened chicken)

Romaine, blackened chicken breast, red onions, fire-roasted red bell peppers, jack and cheddar cheese, avocado, corn, diced tomatoes and crisp corn tortilla strips tossed with Santa Fe dressing.

It’s totally customizable. You can choose a different protein such as shrimp or salmon, different dressing, cheese, or toppings.

I got the grilled shrimp and it came with a bunch. Not the prettiest to look at but very tasty and large. I highly recommend getting this plus another entree and splitting with someone since it may be hard to finish the whole salad and leftover lettuce isn’t always appetizing.

Desserts:

BJ’s Brewhouse Pizookie – White Chocolate Macadamia Nut

White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Pizookie – $6.95

A tiny deep dish pizza pan filled with white chocolate chip & macadamia nut cookie batter, cooked to where the edges are crisp but the center is nice and gooey. Topped with 2 scoops of vanilla bean ice cream.

You really can’t go wrong with any of the flavors. If they have a limited edition one make sure to grab it because they aren’t around long.

Oh and on Tuesdays you can get it for only $3!
